Everything you want to know before your first visit — and a few things you hadn't thought to ask.
No. First Flight and beginner circus arts classes are designed for complete beginners. No particular physical condition required — our instructors adapt to every person.
Most classes are 8+ for regular sessions, 14+ for adult-focused classes. No upper age limit — we've welcomed participants in their 60s and beyond. It's about willingness, not age.
Form-fitting athletic clothing (leggings, athletic shorts, snug top). No exposed zippers, buttons, or baggy clothes. Bare feet. No jewelry. Hair tied back if long.
Yes. You wear a safety harness for the entire session. Instructors are on the ground and on apparatus at all times. Equipment is regularly inspected. You will be caught — that's literally our job.
For drop-in classes: free cancellation up to 24 hours before. After that, the class is charged. Monthly membership can be cancelled anytime.
